While the grooved profile in the Gangway steps provides great anti-slip protection, we recommend our Non-slip Gangway Mat if a continuous surface is desired for elderly people, children, or pets.
SWI-TEC offers a Non-slip Gangway Mat for all models. They are wind- and weather resistant yet easy on your feet and joints (4-5mm thick). Our mat is available for all SWI-TEC Gangways and can be ordered in bulk in widths of 40, 60, 80 and 120 cm for all other Gangways.
When you order a mat for a SWI-TEC Gangway it includes 12 pieces of Velcro fasteners strips (2.5 x 2.5 cm) for attachment. For all other models we recommend ordering the practical Velcro fasteners separately. The simple Velcro system makes it possible to attach to all materials. The SWI-TEC Gangways are offered in three different lengths: 2 m (78 in), 2.5 m (98 in) and 3 m (118 in). Two folding options are available: single-fold (2-Sections) or double-fold (3-Sections). The frames of all Gangways are made of Aluminum while the steps depending on the Gangway model can be ordered either in Aluminum or Teak/Iroko. Different mounting options are available as well as accessories such as Gangway Holder, Storage Bags, Storage Brackets, and Non-slip Mats.
